Spencer Hosseini, manager of the 2017 MWL Champion Sting team has his eyes on 2018. It may only be the November following his first ever championship win, but he has no intentions to only achieve greatness once. "I'm ready to come back. I'm ready to win again" Hosseini said in a text conversation with the commish.
One of the most interesting things about the Mequon Wiffleball League is that we don't know what the following season will look like until the wee hours before the actual season kicks off. Even then, it's hard to predict what teams will be powerhouses and which teams will take a step backwards.
With the integration of the MWL Draft in 2017, the league was flipped yet again. Now there is no clear picture of how teams would fair given most have never played with each other before. Although the Sting took this in stride, it's tough to tell if there will be any carryover effect into 2018.
Hosseini does not seem effected by, "I'll draft another championship team, don't worry".
