The calendar has officially transitioned into 2018 and that means it's time to start thinking about bringing home the Mequon Wiffleball League championship.
A SEASON AWAITS
Get the "Wiffle itch" only to have it taken away immediately after the final pitch on Championship Sunday?
You're not alone.
That's why we're bringing back the season schedule for 2018. Opening day will be in late spring, with the championship weekend wrapping up in early August.
MKE to MEQ
For the first five weeks of the 2018 season, the league will travel to various locations around the greater Milwaukee area. Each team will play one game at this location. The final weekend of the season including Championship Sunday will be back where it began, in Mequon.
Pending on location, gameplay style and rules may alter giving a fresh, fun take on the game.
Innovative content creation is what keeps the Mequon Wiffleball League a premiere experience for all of the its players. With an expanded season will come even more first class content to keep both local and national players interested in what's going on with Wiffleball in Wisconsin.
Everything we've come to love and expect from the league will be back in 2018.
The flexible season format will span over 4 months and will have Wiffle action on almost every other weekend. Each team will play each other once during the regular season. The regular season will end on the Saturday before Championship Sunday, but instead of playing all 5 games on Saturday, teams will only play one game on this final Saturday with the tournament taking place the following day.
Grace Park, Mequon
McKinley Marina, Milwaukee
